| Definition | The series has a set of measurements at a fixed position and multiple but fixed elevations at different times. Time is stored along the primary dimension (rank 1). The z co-ordinate (depth/height) is stored along the secondary dimension (rank 0). Horizontal spatial co-ordinates (e.g. latitude and longitude) are stored in metadata. | ||
