Definition	A CTD that samples on either time or depth increments based sampling with direct-reading or self-logging modes. Depth rating is 1500m. Available with either a platinum resistance thermometer (accuracy temperature 0.02C, salinity 0.07 PSU) or thermistor (accuracy temperature 0.1C, salinity 0.15 PSU) temperature sensors and inductive coil conductivity sensors. Both types have a resolution of 0.002C for temperature and 0.003 PSU for salinity.
