| Definition | A programmable water sampler that can collect up to 48 discrete water samples of up to 1000ml each and may be programmed for time series sampling or for operation in "slave" mode within a system. Samples are collected using a syringe mechanism and stored in gas impermeable bags within protective enclosures.The sampler can be deployed on moorings, towed-vehicle systems, ROV or AUV platforms, and can be used for applications such as phytoplankton, nutrients, salinity and suspended sediment measurements. | ||
