| Definition | A high-speed fixed-alignment benchtop cell sorter. The cytometer can be operated at varied pressures and can acquire up to 70,000 events per second. It is capable of multicolour analysis of up to 13 fluorescent markers and two scatter parameters at a time. The system consists of three major components: a fluidics cart, optics system and cytometer electronics. This model has been discontinued. BD Biosciences is a component of BD, previously known as Becton Dickinson. | ||
