| Definition | A field instrument designed for measurement of dissolved oxygen and temperature in water. It comprises a submersible probe and a battery-powered meter. The probe incorporates Clark-type membrane covered polarographic sensors with built in thermistors for temperature measurement and compensation. Available oxygen measurement ranges are 0-5, 0-10 and 0-20 mg/l, with an accuracy of +/- 1% of full scale at calibration temperature or 0.1 mg/l, whichever is larger. The temperature range is -5 to 45 degC, with an accuracy of +/- 0.5 degC. | ||
