Definition | The Furuno FCV-585 is a dual-frequency (50 kHz and 200 kHz) colour digital echo sounder with a high transmission output power of 600 Watts/1 kW through transducer selection. The FCV-585 is designed for a variety of fishing and recreational vessels. The instrument features a digital filter, with digital signal processing technology in order to adjust gain, sensitivity time control and output power, in addition to suppressing echoes just below the transducer head. The instrument has a fast pulse transmission rate of 3,000 times per minute and pulse lengths ranging from 0.1 ��� 3 ms, for shallow water (<5 metre) echo presentation. The instrument has an operational range of up to 800 m. | |
