| Definition | Underwater sound recorders. It is designed for recording whale songs, dolphin whistles, porpoise echolocations, ambient noise, pile drivers and air guns. It is used for recording audio over long deployments. Sensors are available as either dual-channel acoustic models, or as single-channel Ultrasonic modeIs. There are 3 hydrophone options: an acoustic hydrophone that records frequencies from 2Hz to 48kHz, with a sensitivity of -165dB re: 1 V/uPa. A shallow water variant (depth rated to 150 m) or deep water variant (depth rated to 800 m) is available. Both models using D cell batteries, accepts up to 2 SDHC or SDXC cards for storage capacity up to 1 TB. | ||
